My desk.
I picked it up from Goodwill for $19. I loved the bones.
She was beat up, but it was mostly surface scratches. Nothing that some sanding, wood filler, stain, and paint couldn’t cure.
{ick. she was also this 1980′s honey color}
I painted it Sherwin Williams Dover White and stained the top with ‘jacobean’ from Minwax.
{I also did the chair, which I snagged from ReStore and stripped down and recovered, which I posted about here}
I picked up some glass handles from Hobby Lobby when they were 50% off.
And here she sits, with my iMac perched on her top.
{that’s my great grandma’s cedar box on top. i keep biz cards in there. i haven’t been able to paint it yet, but i will}
