Stitch Fix | spring 2014

I got a gift card for my birthday for a Stitch Fix, so to say I was excited to use it would be an understatement. So when my recent box came, I ripped into it!! I need a little help deciding what to keep, though. So read on…and excuse the crappy photos, please.

1| Splendid Campbell top with faux leather detailing. I have to admit. I wasn’t sold on the shirt the moment I took it out of the box. But its grown on me. I like the fit and the fabric. And I like that its different than other short sleeve shirts that I have.

2| Collective Concepts ‘Kaplan’ 3/4 sleeve tunic blouse. I requested some boho pieces in my fix and this is supposed to fit the bill. While I do love and have gotten much wear out of the blouses that I’ve kept from past fixes, I am on the fence with this one. Is it unique enough? Or is it just so so…

have you ever looked online to see how others style the pieces, only to find them for $10 less? This is the 3rd fix I’ve encountered where I’ve seen this….

3| Eight Sixty ‘Kourt’ striped maxi dress

I do love this dress. Wow. I don’t often love a maxi dress. While, at almost 5’6″, I am by no means petite, they tend to look like they are overpowering my figure. Especially with the short hair. Does that make sense? But this dress doesn’t do that. It hugs and flows in all the right places. Although it is long. Hmmmm.

I didn’t even bother to take a photo of the pants and the cardigan. The jeans were baggy below the knee – way unflattering – and the cardigan was a no. I didn’t like the color on me and the style was just ho-hem.

Thoughts? Opinions? I’d appreciate them. To find out more about Stitch Fix, read here.
